Public tenders from Ethiopia

DataMesh Consulting tracks every public-sector procurement portal we can find for Ethiopia. Below is the live stream of currently-active tenders. Filter by sector or value on the master tenders page.

24 active public-sector tenders from Ethiopia, updated continuously from the official procurement portals we monitor.

Every notice on this page links back to its official source, so bidders can verify eligibility, fee structures, and submission deadlines directly. The deadline counter on each card shows the time remaining in the bidder's local timezone — useful for cross-border procurement where the buyer's working hours and the bidder's may differ.

For higher-volume bidders, the iOS app delivers push notifications when new Ethiopia tenders match a saved keyword profile — useful when you want a same-day alert on new Ethiopia opportunities rather than checking back manually.

Call for National External Collaborator – Assessment of climate-related risks affecting occupational safety and health, working conditions, and enterprise resilience in Ethiopia’s textile, garment, and leather sector.

ILO

Dear Bidder, The International Labour Office (ILO) is seeking an individual to serve as an External Collaborator. Below is a summary of the work to be performed: The assignment will conduct a rapid assessment of climate-related risks, including heat stress and environmental challenges, affecting occupational safety and health (OSH), working conditions, and productivity in Ethiopia’s textile, garment, and leather sector. It will analyse how these risks influence workers’ health, enterprise resilience, decent work outcomes and a just transition, taking into account variations in production processes and workplace environments. The work will combine desk review of existing evidence, analysis of SCORE baseline data from 40 factories, and stakeholder consultations with government, employers’ and workers’ organizations, industry actors, and, where relevant, selected community-level perspectives based on existing evidence. The assessment will identify key risks, gaps, and challenges in current practices, and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen climate-responsive OSH, workplace risk management, and sustainable production practices, with practical relevance for project interventions and policy dialogue. If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information on the ILO e-sourcing platform. Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline. Thank you.

Frequently asked

Public tenders from Ethiopia — common questions

How many active public tenders does Ethiopia currently have?

As of right now, DataMesh Consulting is tracking 24 active public-sector tenders from Ethiopia. The count updates continuously as new opportunities are published and existing ones reach their submission deadlines.

Where do tenders from Ethiopia come from?

Every tender on this page is sourced from the country's official procurement portal. We do not aggregate from third-party services — each record links back to the official publication so bidders can verify procurement rules, fee structures, and submission portals directly.

How often is the Ethiopia tender list updated?

Our scrapers poll the official portals continuously. A new Ethiopia tender typically lands here within minutes of its official publication. Each tender record carries a "Published" timestamp from the source portal so you can verify the lag.

Can a non-resident company bid on Ethiopia public tenders?

In most cases yes — Ethiopia's procurement framework, like most public-procurement regimes worldwide, requires fair access regardless of bidder country of origin, subject to specific notice conditions (security-sensitive tenders, local-content rules, currency restrictions). Each tender record links to its source page where bidder eligibility is published in detail.

Do I need an account to view tenders from Ethiopia?

No. Every Ethiopia tender on DataMesh Consulting is publicly viewable. An account is only required if you want to bookmark tenders, save searches, or receive email digests of new Ethiopia opportunities matching your profile.
