Utilities) & IEP Depot Temp. / Permanent Road & Retaining Wall Scope of Works: Working in partnership with HS2, the BBVS Joint Venture is responsible for the final design, construction, and commissioning of the HS2 Old Oak Common station in West London. The station is the London interchange station of the UK's second high-speed railway. It will be located on the site of the now demolished Old Oak Common Railway Depot, bounded by the Crossrail Depot to the north, the London Overground West London line to the east, the Intercity Express Programme Depot to the south and Old Oak Common Lane to the west. HS2, Great Western Main Line (GWML), Crossrail and Heathrow Express services will be served by the new Old Oak Common Station. HS2 Old Oak Common Station will provide a state-of-the-art gateway to London and the wider area, with efficient intermodal interchange with rail, taxi, cycle and pedestrian modes. Old Oak Common Lane highways package involves all the lowering, widening and realignment of the Old Oak Common Lane highway, inclusive of temporary / permanent access routes, removal of redundant utilities, installation of final utilities and civils works along Old Oak Common Lane and Wells House Road (incl. retaining walls). BBVS is seeking to contract under NEC3 Option A with a contractor to deliver Old Oak Common Lane highways package of works that includes the following elements in summary: i. IEP Depot temporary & permanent access route (incl. retaining wall construction / realignment) ii. Old Oak Common Lane highway lowering, widening & realignment (incl. street furniture, lighting and signage) iii. Removal of all redundant utilities within the highway iv. This Request for Information sets out the Trust's situation and objectives in respect of the design, supply and fit out of new interpretation in the mansion at Saltram (the Opportunity), as part of its Future Saltram: Access to Nature & Heritage Package funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF). Interpretation is required for two historic rooms (87 sqm) at the core of the mansion, in addition to liminal circulation spaces, which will be newly opened to the public as part of an equitable visitor route. Interpretation is also required for other select parts of the mansion. The Trust seeks initial information from a range of bidders as to possible solutions, capacity, capability and relevant experience. Design, supply & fit out of interpretation which delivers on our mission to "use cultural heritage to enhance lives - growing social and creative value which boosts the wellbeing of the people of Plymouth and beyond." These newly opened rooms will be spaces where inclusive, global narratives unfold in compelling, accessible ways, driving engagement and footfall, all informed by the audiences we serve. The fit out of interpretation is expected to commence in April 2027, with practical completion and public opening in June 2027.
