Waimarino Health Clinic - ECI and Staged Construction Works

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora – Whanganui) is undertaking a project to refurbish and extend the Waimarino Health Clinic at Raetihi (the Project). We require a Main Contractor to undertake the construction works in a staged manner including Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), as follows: • undertake the Stage 1 Enabling & Refurbishment Works • provide ECI services and provide input to the detailed design documentation and • bid for and, if approved, undertake the Stage 2 Extension Works to extend the existing building. We are seeking a Main Contractor with experience in ECI and the necessary capability and capacity to successfully undertake the Contract Works in Raetihi, and who has a proven track record in delivering and managing relevant works within a live, operational environment. Main Contractors must be able to bring together and manage a team of subcontractors with relevant experience in live clinical facility upgrades and hospital construction standards, along with other mandatory requirements.
