Establishment of Regional Oncology Centers in Arua and Mbale - GPN

GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Country: The Republic of Uganda Name of Project: Establishment of Regional Oncology Centers in Arua and Mbale Sector: Health Mode of Financing: I. Sale, Loan and RL Grant Financing No: UGA 1066 The Government of Uganda (GoU) represented by the Ministry of Finance has applied for financing in the amount of US$ 36.50 million from the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) toward the cost of the Establishment of Uganda Cancer Institute Regional Oncology Centers in West Nile and Eastern Uganda (Arua and Mbale) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. This project will be jointly financed by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Government of Uganda (GoU) The project scope includes the following components: Component A: Construction and Equipping of the Arua Regional Oncology Centre & Mbale Radiotherapy Unit: Construction of Arua Oncology Center & Mbale Radiotherapy unit (Civil Works) Equipping of Arua Oncology Center & Mbale Radiotherapy Unit (Goods) Component B: Consultancy Services Design and Supervision Financial Audit Services Component C: Capacity Building Long Term Training (Services) Short Term Training (Services) Reverse Linkage: Capacity Building & Accreditation (Services) Technology Support (Goods & Related Services) Community Cancer Care Program (CCCP) (Services) The goods, works and related services including consultancy services are to be procured as follows: GOODS Radiotherapy and Imaging Equipment (International Competitive Bidding Open). Medical, Laboratory & General Hospital Equipment (International Competitive Bidding Open). Non-Medical Equipment (National Competitive Bidding). ICT Equipment (National Competitive Bidding). Vehicles (PMU vehicle and Mobile Van) and PMU ICT Equipment (National Shopping). WORKS Construction of Oncology Center in Arua & Mbale (International Competitive Bidding Limited to Member Countries).
