The Government of Kenya (GOK) has applied for financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Kenya Urban Mobility Improvement Project (KUMIP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. 2. The consulting services (“the Services”) include the Development of Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) for the Nairobi Metropolitan Area (NMA) , encompassing the County Governments of Nairobi City, Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado and Murang’a. The main objective of the consultancy is to develop a comprehensive SUMP for the NMA to guide the development of inter-modal and multi-modal urban transport network and provision of seamless urban transport services; The start date for the services is October 2026 and the duration of the assignment is fifteen (15) calendar months . The estimated total Key Experts staff-time input for the assignment is 75 man-months as per the Terms of Reference for the assignment. 3.
