REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (Consulting Services – Individual Selection) Country: Republic of South Sudan Project: South Sudan Energy Sector Access and Institutional Strengthening Project (ASSIST) Grant No.: E166-SS Assignment Title: Legal Expert – Contract Management, Dispute Resolution and Advisory Support Reference No.: SS-MOED-527796-CS-INDV The Government of South Sudan (GoSS) has received funding from the World Bank towards the cost of implementing Access and Institutional Strengthening Project (ASSIST) and is being implemented by the Ministry of Energy and Dams (MoED) and South Sudan Electricity Corporation (SSEC). The MoED Project Implementation Unit (PIU) is responsible for the execution of multiple contracts under donor-funded energy sector projects, including EPC contracts, consultancy services, goods supply contracts, and technical service agreements. MoED intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services (“the Services”) which include procurement of Legal Expert – Contract Management, Dispute Resolution and Advisory Support (Individual Consultant) assignment for a period of twelve (12) months.
