Further details on the personal data processed is located under the relevant project on Alternative Fuels Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) TII holds encrypted records of vehicle number plates from the ANPR network (principally on the M1, N2, N3, M3, N4, M4, M6, N7, M7, M9, M11, N25, N27, N28, N40, N71, M50 and R641) for the purpose of determining journey times. Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) TII holds encrypted records of vehicle number plates from the ANPR network (principally on the M1, N2, N3, M3, N4, M4, M6, N7, M7, M9, M11, N25, N27, N28, N40, N71, M50 and R641) for the purpose of determining journey times. CCTV TII operates a number of CCTV systems that record images from the national road network. These CCTV systems are operated to assist with traffic monitoring and may be used for enforcement by An Garda Síochána (e.g. the operation of average speed cameras), monitoring of road weather conditions, security of infrastructure, and dealing with queries and complaints from the public. TII also operates CCTV at its Parkgate Business Centre office for the purposes of security and health and safety.
