Event security services may include (but are not limited to): • Crowd management and public safety • Access control and perimeter management • Entry screening and bag checks where required • Asset, infrastructure, and equipment protection • Incident response and escalation • Behaviour management and de escalation • Liaison with NPDC staff, event organisers, venues, and emergency services • Event supervision and on site leadership • Post-event reporting We require a supplier who can demonstrate: • Clear incident and activity reporting processes • The ability to collect, handle and store evidence appropriately (photos, notes, body worn camera footage, GPS data, etc.) • Strong communication protocols between NPDC teams, dispatch, and the service provider’s personnel • Compliance with NPDC Health & Safety protocols, including lone worker safety • Proven systems for event rostering, supervision, and quality assurance • Clear and timely incident and event reporting • Compliance with NPDC health and safety expectations, including proactive risk management in crowded and changing environments. CRC is seeking a provider with strong technical capability in a data platform (e.g., Snowflake), knowledge graph style data modelling, and system integration to deliver the Phase 1 foundational components of the Digital Plan project. High Content Imaging System

The University is seeking a high content microscopy screening system to support high throughput, quantitative imaging for biomedical research. The system will be used for automated imaging and analysis of fixed and live biological samples, including cell cultures, spheroids, organoids and 3D matrices. Core applications include phenotypic screening, drug discovery and pharmacological testing, cell biology, cancer research, molecular medicine; discovery and translational research requiring large scale image datasets. Transmitted light, widefield fluorescence, and spinning disk confocal capabilities will enable high resolution 2D and 3D imaging, live and time lapse experiments under environmental control, and rapid acquisition suitable for high content screening workflows. Comprehensive image analysis, data mining, and AI enabled analysis capabilities are required to support modern data driven research and reproducible outcomes. We do not require a simple high throughput instrument.

The large amount of airborne particles within the workshop currently poses a health and safety risk to staff using the workshop and students learning within the space. The university aims to have a workshop extract system that removes all risk to students and staff by removing as much of the airborne particulates from the space as possible. In order to do this, there is a need for a functional and efficient extraction system. There is a currently installed dust extract system which upon survey was underperforming significantly due to an undersized fan and aging ductwork. WHAT WE REQUIRE: THE SOLUTION We seek the services of a main contractor to carry out the following works: 1. A main contractor to supply and install the dust extract system. 2. A contractor that seriously considers safe and accessible maintenance requirements. 3. A contractor that has a proven track record of working with clients to achieve the required outcomes. 4. A contractor capable of working within the University’s unique environment. 5. A contractor that can deliver high quality material outcomes to the University. It is intended the building remains in use and occupied throughout the contract works.
Pāteke Predator Control
Department of Conservation
Predator control of mustelids and cats is fundamental to the protection of pateke/brown teal, a rare endemic duck which is particularly susceptible to predation and North Island Brown Kiwi. Pateke were once widespread throughout New Zealand, but are now reduced to just two remnant wild sites, one of which is the area outlined in this contract. The services required in the contract are for a contractor to undertake predator trapping operations on both Public Conservation Land (Mimiwhangata Coastal Park) and private land in the Teal Bay, and Whananaki. The Director-General has established 599 traps across these sites which are to be serviced weekly or fortnightly, depending on the site and season. Bait supply and preparation is included in the services required. Predator control tailored to protect Pateke has been refined over many years by the Pateke Recovery Group, and that is represented in the detailed requirements in the contract.

Tactical Groups Ballistic Shield Replacement Project

This procurement relates to the identification of and subsequent purchase of ballistic shields for New Zealand Police Tactical Groups (AOS / STG). The objective of this procurement is to; • Replace the current Protech Nato shields that are expiring in 2026, • Replace the Protech Assault 3 shields that are utilised in confined spaces and are due to expire over the next few years, and • Enhance the ballistic protective ‘wall’ capability of Tactical Group squads beyond the capability offered by a single ballistic shield. District Tactical Groups are supplied with ballistic shields to assist in dealing with high-risk situations that involve offender/s armed with firearms. In summary we need to establish a preferred supplier(s) to replace the Tactical Groups ballistic shields and to enhance the current ballistic protection capability.
