We are placing a framework for suppliers to carry out clearance of natural regeneration, re-spacing of conifer crops, windblow clearance, roadside brashing and pruning and small scale felling across North District. This requirement will be split into 8 lots covering the geographical region. Christmas Tree halo thinning operations are covered in Lot 9 and will span across the whole framework geographic area. Fermanagh and Omagh District Council (The Council) invite tenders from suitably experienced and licensed contractors to collect, process and recycle biowaste. The contract materials will be collected by the successful Bidder(s) at the Council’s fully licensed transfer stations located at: Omagh Operations Centre, Gortrush Transfer Station, Gortrush Industrial Estate, Great Northern Road, Omagh. BT78 5EJ Licence Number: WML 25/04 and Fermanagh Operations Centre, Drummee Transfer Station, 30 Drummee Road, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. BT74 7LE Licence number 34/24. The tender will be divided into four individual pricing lots as listed below. Lot 1 - Collection, treatment and processing of co-mingled brown bin material from Omagh Operations Centre. Lot 2 – Collection, treatment and processing of co-mingled brown bin material from Fermanagh Operations Centre. Lot 3 – Collection, treatment and processing of biodegradable garden waste (green waste) from Omagh Operations Centre. Lot 4 – Collection, treatment and processing of biodegradable garden waste (green waste) from Fermanagh Operations Centre. Each Lot Contract is to be for a period of 2 years from award of the Lot Contract. The two categories of bio-waste which comprise the contract material relating to this tender are listed below: EWC 20 01 08, 20 02 01 - Co-mingled brown bin material. This material is generated through the kerbside collection of brown bins consisting of garden waste co-mingled with food waste and household fire ash. All households are provided with a five litre caddy and free compostable bags are provided to the public. EWC 20 02 01 – biodegradable garden waste (green waste) collected through the household recycling centres. This material does not include food waste or compostable bags and will largely consist of garden and lawn cuttings, hedge trimmings and coarse branches, stumps foliage and all other equivalent plant materials. Attribute survey plots will be established and assessed following the method based on both the Forest Mensuration handbook 2006 and the Forestry Commission Survey Handbook, 3rd edition 2007. Closed Landfill Site Management and Maintenance

est Lancashire Borough Council is looking to appoint a contractor to undertake monitoring and maintenance of two closed landfill sites at Alder Lane, Parbold & Mill Dam Lane, Burscough. Primarily to monitor the gases and leachate from both sites and to maintain the two current airless leachate stripping plants, gas vents & boreholes. In addition, an initial audit of the sites is required to establish a benchmark for the condition/lifespan of the assets. To ensure WLBC meets its obligations to monitor and limit any environmental impact of the landfill operations at its closed landfill sites.

Environment Agency Natural Flood Management Programme Phase 2 - Swan Brook Wetlands Year 3
THE NATIONAL TRUST FOR PLACES OF HISTORIC INTEREST OR NATURAL BEAUTY
The Swan Brook Wetlands project comprises a range of Natural Flood Management measures to be installed at three National Trust owned and tenanted farm project sites. The overall aim is to increase water retention in the headwaters of the Swan Brook and reduce flood risk downstream. NFM measures proposed are specific to each location and include low earth bunds, in-field scrapes, roughening features, leaky dams and areas of floodplain reconnection. It also includes the construction of access and associated drainage infrastructure. Multiple strategic benefits are expected. Contractors will be chosen based on capacity, capability, relevant experience of delivering NFM interventions, proposed solution and cost. This project is funded by the Environment Agency as part of the £25 million Natural Flood Management Programme. • The project is funded by Defra • The programme is managed by the Environment Agency Full details of how to apply are in the attached Request for Proposals document. A Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is an electronic system established by a contracting authority to purchase commonly used goods, works or services in accordance with the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. Admittance to a DPS gives participants the opportunity to subsequently bid for relevant future opportunities which are procured through the DPS. The purpose of the DPS is to provide a compliant route to market for FLS to procure services which are unable to be provided through existing contracts or to replace contracts which have terminated or expired. The scope of the DPS is primarily for restoration operations including but not limited to: - Site Rewetting and Associated Services including peatland rewetting and hydrological restoration, hag and gully restoration, and mulching; - Specialised Peatland Harvesting including specialised tree removal for peatland restoration, mechanical mulching, and brash and timber management; - Supporting works including chainsaw works, temporary watercourse crossings, creation of access tracks, and supply and installation of associated materials.
