The purpose of this grant is to support the enhancement of Bank Al-Maghrib’s IT system for banking supervision, enabling it to effectively address the unique demands of Islamic banking in the wake of the country's recent introduction of participation banks. The Moroccan banking system is undergoing a significant transformation with the emergence of participation banks, presenting new challenges and opportunities for effective supervision.
