THE REVOLUTIONARY GOVERNMNENT OF ZANZIBAR MINISTRY OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, GENDER, ELDERLY, AND CHILDREN (MCDGEC) ADVANCING GENDER EQUALITY IN TANZANIA (PAMOJA) PROJECT REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: TZ-MOCDGEC-549190-CS-CQS CONSULTANCY SERVICES (FIRMS) FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR SUPPORTING COMMUNITY-BASED DAY CARE CENTERS (CDCC) FOR ZANZIBAR Project ID No: P178813 The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Advancing Gender Equality In Tanzania (PAMOJA) Project and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract ‘ ‘Development Of Operational Guidelines For Supporting Community-Based Day Care Centers (CDCC) for Zanzibar’’. The consulting services (“the Services”) include but not limited to the below three objectives, Phase 1: To Develop National ECD guideline Phase 2: To Develop Accreditation Framework and short-courses for caregivers Phase 3: To Develop Operational Manual The Terms of Reference (TOR) for the primary procurement stage for the assignment can be obtained at the address given below. The Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Elderly, and Children now invites eligible consulting firms (“Consultants”) to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The client is looking for a firm with at least (3) years’ experience in the Childhood and Community Development fields. The firm should be registered by recognized professional boards and authorities. The Consultant Team will require a range of specialist expertise and be multidisciplinary in nature to undertake this assignment.
